Shared Service Center Update Emails

**The message below has been sent to all career employees (with an active email address) in ARM, IET, Office of the Chancellor, Office of the Provost, Student Affairs, Regional and Community Engagement, Development and Alumni Relations and University Communications in addition to central administrative employees in Office of Research **

Colleagues:

The Shared Service Center Program Management Office (PMO) has completed its internal interviewing process and 58 candidates have accepted offers to work in the new organization; 53 of whom are employees from administrative divisions participating in the Shared Service Center (SSC).  Interviews will continue until the SSC is fully staffed at 72 members and those who have accepted offers will begin a comprehensive training program on December 12.  We extend sincere thanks to all staff and management for your support during the interview process. 

As we continue to make preparations for the upcoming SSC launch, the PMO would like to invite you to attend one or more upcoming informational forums.  There will be one forum for each functional area of finance, human resources and payroll. Topics include an overview of the processes that will remain in the departments and central units and those that will migrate to the SSC, sample process workflow models, and “next steps”. No reservations are required, but seating is limited to room occupancy.
