Foundations of Career Advising: Principles and Practices

This workshop will provide participants with an overview of career advising competencies and how advising professionals can incorporate these into their work with students as they enter the career development process.

Course Description

Participants will be introduced to some basic career theory frameworks, strategies for how to help students in career exploration and decision making, and examples of utilizing career resources on and off campus.  Note: There will be a lunch break from 12:00-1:00 pm.
