The SSO HR /Payroll team provides the following onboarding services for staff, faculty, academics and students:
Staff Onboarding
- New instructions are being sent to new hires regarding I-9 and Oath being verified via remote video!
- New Employee Benefits Orientations via webinar
Student Onboarding (link)
- New hires are being sent emails via DocuSign with instructions on scheduling appointments online
- We are using remote video for I-9 and Oath verification
Onboarding next steps
- Upon return to campus, all new hires must physically bring in documents within 3 working days
- SSO will hold special hours for physical verification of documents
- SSO will be reaching out to departments for help on these efforts
HR/Payroll Full Service Client Inclusions
- Recruitment
- Onboarding Inclusions:
- Schedule onboarding appointment for staff and students (note: students schedule their own onboarding appointment through ScheduleOnce. They will be provided instructions from their SSO HR Coordinator)
- New hire paperwork completion and entry
- Employee ID card
- Schedule new employee benefits orientation
- Computing account access (email setup guide and Kerberos login) instructions
- Review/overview of time and attendance procedures, timekeeping system information
- UCPath (payroll system entry) entries and timesheet setup if applicable
- Send documents to central offices
- DMV Pull Notice enrollment, when applicable.
