  • UC Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education SHAPE Training for Supervisors, MSP, and Faculty (eCourse)
  • This training (previously titled UC Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment Prevention for Supervisors, Faculty and MSP) is for supervisory, MSP employees, and faculty at all UC locations, and provides an overview of how to prevent sexual violence and sexual harassment in the University of California. Topics include:

    Recognize sexual harassment, sexual violence, and other prohibited behavior
    Prevent harm before, during and after incidents
    Respond: identify roles and processes for reports
    Resources: seek services, confidential resources, and assistance to help you navigate
    Supervisor: roles and responsibilities

  • UC Abusive Conduct in the Workplace (eCourse)
  • This training provides an overview of the University of California's Abusive Conduct in the Workplace Policy. Topics include:

    An overview of what is and isn't abusive conduct
    Guidance on how to prevent abusive conduct
    Guidance on how to respond to and report abusive conduct, if it occurs
    Resources and reporting options available to UC community members who have experienced or witnessed abusive conduct

  • UC Cyber Security Awareness Training eCourse
  • Cybercrime happens far more often than you realize, and you are a target! This interactive Cyber Security Awareness training course provides information on some of the most common threats facing the University and facing us as individuals. The course is led by a social engineer who uses real life examples to highlight how we can minimize the risks to ourselves and the University from these cyber threats.

    Areas of focus include:

    Leave types available to employees (FMLA, CFRA, PDLL, etc.)
    Leave of absence process
    Supervisor and manager responsibilities
    Pay options while on leave

  • Disability Management for Managers and Supervisors
  • This course addresses what supervisors and managers need to know regarding the requirements to accommodate employees with disabilities under federal and state law as well as university policy. Do you know what is meant by "the interactive process"? Did you know that: 1. the interactive process is mandatory on the part of employers? 2. both the employer and employee have a duty to assist in a reasonable accommodation search? 3. an employer has an ongoing obligation to continue the interactive process if the first efforts are not successful? In this informative course you will discuss questions such as these and learn about helpful resources concerning disability management.
