Project Management Office

We ensure the successful execution of HR's projects by providing governance, strategic alignment, and project management. We drive efficiency, quality, and compliance, enabling the organization to leverage technology to enhance HR operations and support business objectives.

  • Portfolio Management
    • Maintain the portfolio of HR projects, tracking status, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Facilitate project approval and prioritization processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Develop and maintain project management methodologies, templates, and best practices.
  • Project Management
    • Lead projects from conception to completion to achieve successful outcomes.
    • Manage cross functional project teams, including HR, IT, third-party vendors and other stakeholders.
    • Act as a communication bridge between project teams, HR leaders, and executive stakeholders.
    • Manage stakeholder expectations and address issues and concerns promptly.
    • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies as appropriate.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and user requirements.
    • Partner with HR and change management teams to ensure smooth transitions to new technologies.
    • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

    • Ensure the successful implementation of UCPath projects at UC Davis.
  • Development and Oversight of HR Roadmap
    • Define and oversee the strategic direction of HR initiatives, aligning them with the broader goals of the HR function and the organization.
