Presentation: UC Retiree Medical Plans for 2026

This overview of University of California retiree medical plans is intended to help those who need to know more about the plans during Open Enrollment for 2026 and beyond. (This presentation does not discuss post-doctoral scholar, intern/resident or student benefits.)

Update (August 2026) for the HealthSavings+ plan, family coverage: While the overall family out-of-pocket maximum remains unchanged, no individual family member will pay more than $10,600 for in-network medical services and prescription drugs per year. (The plan was originally designed to apply a shared $13,400/family out-of-pocket maximum.)
