I am pleased to launch the 2024 nomination process for the Chancellor’s Outstanding Staff Awards, the highest honor for a UC Davis staff member. 

Through this nomination process we will discover and celebrate staff members whose remarkable work advances the university’s mission and supports our students, employees, patients and community.

Any UC Davis employee may nominate a staff member for an Exceptional University Management or Exceptional University Impact Award. 

All Campus and Health staff are eligible, provided they

• a) have been continuously employed at UC Davis or UC Davis Health for a minimum of five years
• b) are appointed at 50% or more time, and
• c) meet or exceed performance standards.

Application & Process

Staff colleagues can be nominated for their work in one of five general areas of distinction: 1) adaptation, innovation, or efficiency; 2) integrity, accountability, or trust; 3) performance or engagement; 4) kindness or culture; 5) collaboration or support.
