Flexible Spending Account – April 15 Claim Filing Deadline

Wednesday, April 15, 2026, is the final day to file claims for 2025 eligible expenses under the UC Health FSA and Dependent Care plans.

After April 15, employees will no longer be able to submit 2025 plan year expenses for reimbursement and funds will be forfeited.

To access your FSA activity, account balance and reimbursement information, please log in to your WEX Health account.

Covers eligible medical expenses for you and your eligible family members
Unused 2025 contributions up to $660 will be carried forward automatically to use in 2026. You do not need to be enrolled in the Health FSA in 2026 to access funds carried forward from 2025
After April 15, 2026, unclaimed amounts exceeding the $660 carry-forward limit will be forfeited
If you did not enroll in the Health FSA for 2026, unclaimed balances of less than $25 will be forfeited after April 15, 2026

Covers eligible preventive care, dental and vision expenses for you and eligible family members
There is no carryover provision for Limited Purpose FSA balances. Any unused balance will be forfeited

Covers eligible expenses for the care of your child (up to age 13) or eligible adult dependent while you work
There is no carryover feature in the DepCare FSA
Plan includes a grace period, allowing unused funds from one plan year to be used for claims incurred during the following year's grace period. For 2025 DepCare FSA participants, the grace period will end on March 15, 2026
Claims for expenses incurred in 2025 and during the grace period of January 1 – March 15, 2026, are due by April 15, 2026
2025 funds not claimed by April 15, 2026, will be forfeited
