When using AI tools:
- Use only UC-approved platforms for university work.

Mandatory Training Compliance
Employees must complete all required mandatory training to receive at least a “meets expectations” rating.
Managers can confirm their employees’ completion by accessing the UC Learning Center and selecting Manager Dashboard. Managers will only be copied on overdue notifications.
Performance Appraisals Are More Than Annual Task
Performance appraisals are an opportunity to reflect on accomplishments, assess progress toward goals and engage in meaningful conversations about professional growth. Feedback from the Employee Experience Survey consistently highlights the importance of career planning, and HR offers resources to support those conversations.
