Open Enrollment for 2025

As Open Enrollment approaches, we encourage you to review the comprehensive benefits available to you and your family.

Open Enrollment begins Oct. 31 at 8 a.m. and closes Nov. 22 at 5 p.m.

Take advantage of the tools and support provided to help you make the best choices for 2025.

Maintaining affordability while providing generous, high-quality medical benefits is a top priority for UC Davis, and our medical benefits are one of the reasons we rank as a top employer.

Take Action During Open Enrollment

You can make benefit changes in UCPath, beginning Oct. 31.

  • ENROLL IN or WAIVE UC sponsored medical, dental, vision, supplemental health, and/or legal plans

  • TRANSFER  to a different medical or dental plan

  • ADD or REMOVE eligible family members to/from your plans

  • ENROLL or REENROLL in the Health FSA and/or Dependent Care FSA.
Please note: if you are enrolling in the UC Health Savings Plan, you may not enroll in the Health FSA.

Your current plan elections will continue for 2025, unless you elect to change them. If you are currently participating in the Health FSA or Dependent Care FSA programs and would like to participate for 2025, you must take action to re-enroll.

Medical Plan Rates

Medical plan rates will rise this year and the CORE PPO plan will begin requiring the lowest employee contribution. However, medical plan costs won’t increase as significantly as they did last year, thanks in large part to both UC and UC Davis paying a larger share of plan costs.

Special (lower) rates for UC Blue & Gold HMO for UC Davis, UC Davis Health and Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR) employees match those for Kaiser, and are posted on the UC Davis Open Enrollment webpage.

Find rates personalized for you in the ALEX Benefits Tool or your UCPath portal
